Mohawk Industries reports first quarter sales of $2.7 billion

The inflationary pressure triggered by rising energy prices is impacting consumers – reducing both confidence and discretionary spending – as well as businesses. “We are implementing price increases across many product categories and geographies, and further price increases could be required,” stated Lorberbaum. “The impact of higher-cost raw materials will be greater in the second half of the year due to our flow-through of inventory. We are maintaining flexibility to align with evolving demand, supply availability and volatile costs. Presently, we are containing costs, reengineering products and limiting capital expenditures. Fairs Ceramics China 2026 on the starting blocks
From 24 to 27 June, the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou will host the 40th edition of Ceramics China, Asia’s premier trade fair for ceramic industry machinery, equipment and materials. Around 800 exhibiting companies from 20 countries will showcase a wide range of advanced solutions for all sectors of ceramic manufacturing, including tiles and slabs, heavy clay, sanitaryware, tableware and advanced ceramics. Thanks to this wide range of products, the organisers expect the show to attract more than 90,000 visitors from 100 countries and regions, surpassing the 80,240 attendees recorded at the 2025 edition.
